Camille Jones joined the board of directors for Redemption House Ministries in June 2025 at the invitation of Reverend Michael Wilson. He has a knack for volunteer recruitment through sharing delicious food and genuine neighborly-ness. Camille grew up in Southern California where she received a Bachelor’s in English Literature from CSUCI and volunteered for the Santa Paula Animal Rescue Center, Canine and Adoption Rescue League, and the Santa Barbara County Animal Services. She moved to Prineville in April 2024 in search of a place for her and her husband’s publishing company, Colloquy Publishing, to thrive.

She never thought she’d volunteer for unhoused people for a fear of it being too difficult to see such human suffering. But, through volunteering for the Point In Time Count and as a gatherer of unhoused stories, she has found much more than suffering–hope, resilience, comradery, and love. Her earnest hope is to see every member of Crook County with the option to have a roof over their head.
