Cindy Jacobson

Cindy started working for Redemption House Ministries June 1, 2019, as the executive director. She stepped down from that position and into the Grants Manager role on May 15, 2026. She was part of the church group that started Redemption House Ministries back in 2013. She was a volunteer back then and felt very strongly about the importance of shelters being ran with the love of Jesus. She was the one who came up with the logo that states Redemption House Ministries place of hope, and she truly believes this was inspired by God. She has seen so many lives changed for the better through the love, acceptance and empathy of everyone involved with this organization.

As the executive director she loved knowing that every decision and action she took on behalf of Redemption House Ministries could make someone’s life better. Now, as grants manager, she finds joy in helping secure the funding needed to keep the shelters and outreach programs running so Redemption House Ministries can continue supporting both employees and guests who rely on these services. Cindy has always been about sharing love and kindness with others even though she has suffered many deep and personal losses. She knows that God is her strength, and she can always rely on him through every situation. Her hope is that everyone can experience the love of God as written in Ephesians 3:16-19, “I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.”
